Arts and crafts are offered at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada’s Carson Valley Clubhouse during summer programming beginning Monday.

Field trip schedule includes:

Club Wide Field Trips ages 6 and up (Every Wednesday)

June 21-Galaxy Movie Theater and Lunch at the park (Cars 3)

June 28-Carson Valley Golf Course and BBQ

The Carson Valley site of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada begins summer programming with Camp Battle Born on Monday. Camp Battle Born runs through Aug. 4.

Mandatory parent orientation sessions are held every Tuesday at 6 p.m. through the end of June. Club membership is $30 per year. Summer sessions are $40 per week. Scholarships are available for families needing financial assistance and will be discussed at parent orientation.

Activities are planned around weekly themes including football camp with special guest, mad science class, and alpine camp with hiking trip.

Summer field trips begin June 21. Parents must sign their kids up in the office prior to each outing and trips must be paid the week prior to the day of the trip. Field trips range from $10-$35 depending on the event, and each child must wear a Club field trip T-shirt for easy identification as a Club kid. T-shirts are $6.
