Bomb threat prompts building checks
Authorities in Douglas County and Carson City are checking large buildings open to the public after receiving a bomb threat.
Douglas County deputies have been dispatched to each of the casinos in the East Fork Township and the properties’ security teams have been alerted.
Checks are also being conducted at government buildings.
No evacuations have been ordered. The call reportedly came in by cell phone.
Members of the Tahoe Douglas bomb squad have been placed on standby should anything be located.
