Bently recovering from stroke
Roger Harker, president of Bently Nevada Corp., returned Monday from a three-day visit with Don Bently at Saint Marys Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Bently was also joined by his son Chris.
Topics of discussion between the three ranged from Bently’s recovery to business at Bently Nevada Corp. and his ranching operations.
Harker said that Bently, 72, continues his “excellent recovery” from a stroke on May 31 and that he is receiving the “best care available.” Rehabilitation began this week.
Harker said the Mayo Clinic in Rochester is ranked number one in the world in neurological medicine and rehabilitation.
Bently was transfered to the clinic from Washoe Medical Center in Reno.
Friends and well wishers may send cards and flowers but are asked to refrain from phone calls. Bently’s mailing address is: Don Bently, c/o Saint Marys Hospital, 1216 Second St. SW, Rochester, MN 55902.
