Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly left the Gardnerville Walmart 2 p.m. Dec. 8 without paying.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, employees shouted for the man to stop as he was leaving the store. However, he got into a green four-door sedan without license plates.

The sedan was driven by a woman, who’d entered the store carrying an infant with the man, but left prior to the theft.

A reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Callers will remain anonymous.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Douglas County Dispatch at 782-5126, Douglas County Secret Witness at 782-7463 or Investigator John Storke at 782-9908.
