Leapin’ Lizards comes to Caesars June 1

If you liked “Annie,” you’ll love “Leapin’ Lizards.”

The Dance Workshop dancers will present an amusing adaptation of the popular musical, “Annie” 7 p.m. on Monday, June 1 in Circus Maximus Showroom at Caesars Tahoe.

Tickets are on sale at the Dance Workshop this week and will be available at the door. Adults are $7, children 4-10 years are $5, under 3 are free.

The proceeds will benefit the Douglas County School District’s “I Can” program.

“Leapin’ Lizards’ promises to be a professional performance that will appeal to the young and young at heart. It will be a terrific outing for the family and a fun way to celebrate the end of the school years, besides support a great cause,” said Dance Workshop owner Ann Peters.

The show features 175 dancers including the award-winning Dance Workshop’s Dance Company. The lead rolls are being played by Krissie Thornhill as Annie, Katie Sullivan, Miss Hannigan; Dustin Ames, Daddy Warbucks; Molli Sullivan, Sandy the dog; Allison McCormick, the secretary; Melinda McMurry, Punjaba; Shane Hennessey – York, Rooster; Jennica Weiss, York.
