Kiwanis Turkey Bingo set Saturday night

Staff reports

This Saturday night, Nov. 20, the Gardnerville/Minden Kiwanis Club will hold its annual Turkey Bingo.

“For just 25 centers per game,” said spokesperson Len Frueh, “players will have a chance to win a turkey for the holidays or a custom-designed lap robe representing many of the historical buildings of the Carson Valley.”

Over 40 turkeys will be given as prizes, and the winner of the last game of the night will receive a portable CD and tape player.

This year, members of the 4-H clubs in the Valley will serve refreshments provided by Kiwanis.

“Come out for the run and help support Kiwanis as they continue serving the children and seniors within out community,” Frueh said.

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. at the CVIC Hall in Minden.
