Kiwanis ham Bingo coming March 22
Chairperson Byron Waite is getting ready for an overflow crowd at the annual Gardnerville/Carson Valley Kiwanis Club Ham Bingo party coming March 22 at the CVIC Hall in Minden.
The event begins at 7 p.m. and ends when all the hams are gone.
The last game is a blackout game, but in between 50 hams will be won and a few Easter surprises will be on the agenda.
Waite said there will be plenty of free refreshments, popcorn, coffee, cookies and fruit punch. Bingo cards are 25 cents each.
Hams are furnished by Scolari’s Market in Gardnerville, and all funds go to scholarships to Douglas County students.
