Historical society gets money from Dalton concert

Staff reports

The Carson Valley Historical Society was presented with a check for $2,500, the proceeds from the Lacy J. Dalton and Jerry Miller concert held during the Candy Dance Weekend in Genoa.

The check was presented by Jay and Debbie Rhodes of the Inn Cognito Restaurant and Saloon in Genoa, where the concert was held, and John F. Sieben Jr., owner of American General Development Corp.

The concert was held Sept. 24 to raise funds to help the historical society to maintain the Genoa Courthouse Museum.

The Rhodes and Sieben thanks individuals and businesses who participated.
