Hanepen at Villa Gigli
Villa Gigli Trattoria will present acoustic guitarist George Hanepen for Sunday evening dinner tomorrow from 6 to 7 p.m.
The trattoria and gallery, showcasing the homemade pasta and bread of Ruggero Gigli and the intaglio art, prints and masks of Gina Gigli, is set on an alpine hillside just outside town on the road to Grover Hot Springs.
Villa Gigli has been touted in “Gourmet Magazine” as “something of a miracle” for its success in a remote location and awarded three stars by Best Places Northern California. It is often mentioned in the “San Francisco Chronicle” as a travel destination.
For reservations at 6 or 6:30 p.m. either Saturday or Sunday evenings, call (530) 694-2253. The restaurant will be open three nights a week later in the season.
