Fly casters plan fish out

Staff reports

The High Sierra Fly Casters, in anticipation of some great weather and fly fishing, have planned a fish out the weekend of June 27 and 28 at Indian Creek. Camping will be available for those wishing to do so. Others may choose to just drive out for a day of fishing.

“Whatever your preference, we will be happy to have you join us,” said spokesperson Rosemarie Middendorf.

Indian Creek is beginning to produce – especially around the aerators. Rumor has it that a 20-incher, probably a carryover, was taken recently.

“We hope you make plans to participate,” Middendorf added. “Perhaps you will get lucky.”

Some meals will be provided and the group needs to know how many to prepare for. Contact Gene Young at home, 265-2626, or work, 782-2522, for information and to RSVP. He will also share any last minute information available.
