Douglas County Parks and Recreation Division’s new fall program brochure is in the mail. Look for these ongoing and new classes starting the first week of September:

n Ballet, with instructor Joan Hansen.

n Beginning painting, with instructor Mark Tompkins.

n Adventure Camp for green track.

n Kids Club at all elementary schools.

n Positive energy and tumbling and dance class, with instructor Aja Lopez.

n Tae Kwon Do at Jacks Valley Elementary School, instructor Nyls Rothfusz.

n Dog obedience, with instructor Guy Yeaman.

n Country line dance, with instructor Jean Hulbert.

n Beginning ballroom dancing, with instructor Jeanne Iben.

n Bushido Jujitsu, with instructor Robert Morton.

n Yoga, with instructor Bea McDonald.

n Tai Chi, with instructor Earl Mussett.

n Quilt makers, with instructor Marianne Christensen.

Call the recreation office for starting dates or more information. Preregistration is required for all recreation classes.
