Faith Christian Fellowhip offers speaker

Staff reports

Faith Christian Fellowship, which holds its services at the CVIC Hall in Minden, invites Carson Valley residents to attend a service that Pastor Gary Combs says “will change your life.”

Speaking will be Lonnie Hilton, national director and vice president of Faith Christian Fellowship International. He was senior pastor at Rhema Christian Center in Decatur, Ill. for 12 years before joining the administrative staff of FCF.

He has served as a FCF district representative for one year, state representative for four years, area representative for four years and regional representative for one year before becoming national director in 1994.

His wife Linda is the human resources manager for the international office.

Hilton has been married for 30 years and is the father of two married children aged 22 and 24. He was raised on a farm in Illinois, has served in the armed forces and has owned a small business. He has participated in both the management and labor side of industry.

He was raised in a mainline denominational church and has been in the charismatic movement since the 1970s. He has served in almost every area of the ministry with great success.

Combs said Hilton is a man called of God to assist other men of God and the flocks they serve.

“He is full of joy and Godly wisdom and a blessing to the family of God and the international office,” Combs said. “He is eager to serve, loves to make people feel wanted and has the talent of lifting others up.”

Hilton will speak at the Sunday, Sept. 28 service at 9:30 a.m. at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Nursery is provided.
