Explorer Post selling chances on Beanie Babies

Eight Princess Di Beanie Babies were donated to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Explorer Post for a fund-raiser by Bouquet and Bouquet florist.

The owners of Bouquet and Bouquet are Jim and Anna Hansen. Their granddaughter Heather is a Post member.

The raffle tickets will be sold June 12 through Aug. 1 by the Explorers, with the assistance of Bouquet and Bouquet.

The tickets will be sold for $1 each or six tickets for $5. Tickets may be purchased from any Douglas County Explorer, Dep. Jennie Hill or at Bouquet and Bouquet.

The drawing will be held at Bouquet and Bouquet on Saturday, Aug. 1, at 2 p.m. Winners need not be present to win.

The proceeds from the raffle will help with expenses for the Explorers attending the National Conference in Washington, D.C., on July 19.
