Good Friday, April 21, 7 p.m., featuring Joani Tabor, female Christian Vocalist award winner ’94, ’95, ’96

Easter sunrise service, April 23, 9 a.m.

– Valley Springs Baptist Church, 824 Darkbrush, Gardnerville

April 21, 7 p.m., a unique presentation of The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ

– Trinity Lutheran Church, 1480 Douglas Ave., Gardnerville

Good Friday April 21, noonday worship, 12:05 p.m.; “Tenebrae” worship, 7 p.m.

Easter, April 23, 6:30 a.m., early worship with Holy Communion; 8 a.m., Easter festival worship (no Holy Communion); 9:15 a.m., pancake breakfast; 10:30 a.m., Easter festival worship (no Holy Communion)

Church choir will sing at the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services.

Easter, April 23, 9 a.m., brunch; 10 a.m., Easter service and egg hunt for children

– High Sierra Fellowship, 1516 Highway 395, Suite E, Gardnerville

Interdenominational Good Friday service, April 21, noon at Minden Park. This half-hour service will feature worship music and a biblical message about the events of Good Friday. The entire community is welcome to this worship service.

Easter, April 23, 9:30 a.m. in the main sanctuary. Featured will be special music and a message by Pastor Rich Lammay, “Where did they put him?”

Holy Thursday, April 20, 7 p.m., Mass of Our Lord’s Supper

Good Friday, April 21, noon, Traditional Service and Eucharist; 7 p.m., Passion of Our Lord, presented by S.P.I.R.I.T. Youth Group

Easter Vigil, Saturday, April 22, 7 p.m.; no 5 p.m. or Spanish Mass

Easter Sunday, April 23, 8 and 10:30 a.m. Masses

– Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville

Maundy Thursday, April 20, 7 p.m. A “living Last Supper” will be presented, followed by communion for all.

Good Friday, April 21, 7 p.m. Choirs and clergy from Christ Presbyterian and Carson Valley United Methodist churches will participate in the service

Easter, April 23, Sunrise service, 6 a.m.; Chancel Choir presentation of Risen This Day by Benjamin Harlin at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services. All children will receive an Easter gift.

– Christ Presbyterian Church, 1701 Lucern St., Minden

Easter, April 23, 6:30 a.m., outdoor sunrise service “at the cross” on the church property; 10:30 a.m., service in the church sanctuary; an indoor Easter Brunch will be served between the two services. The community is invited.

– Tahoe Community Church, 145 Daggett Lane at Kingsbury Grade (S.R. 207)

Good Friday, April 21, 4 p.m., children/family service for all ages. The Lord’s Supper will be served and explained to the children.

6 p.m., a more reverent Good Friday service; the Lord’s supper will be served.

Egg Hunt, April 22

Heavenly Service, April 23, 8 a.m., Top of the Tram at Heavenly Ski Resort, a non-denominational service, complimentary tram tickets available to the first 300 guests attending the service. Dress warmly and arrive early for refreshments and fellowship. Tram begins at 6:45 a.m.

Easter, April 23, 10:30 a.m. at the church.
