Day in the Life photo shoot today
Fall is here, there’s a dusting of snow on Jobs Peak, and today is The Record-Courier’s annual Day in the Life of Douglas County photo feature.
The 10th Carson Valley Almanac photo feature asks The R-C’s readers to bust out their Brownies, cameras, or smart phones on that day and take pictures in and around Carson Valley.
All photos must be taken in Douglas County or in the surrounding mountains, and must be taken today. Photos may be cropped and color corrected, but not digitally altered.
Because the magazine is a glossy high-resolution publication, photographs must be in their original format, and 1 megabyte or larger. Digital file formats include jpeg and tiff.
Prints brought to The R-C can be scanned, but digital formats are preferred.
Submit photos by emailing them to email@example.com or bringing them by The Record-Courier building at 1503 Highway 395, Suite G before Jan. 1.
Call Editor Kurt Hildebrand at 782-5121, ext. 21 with questions.
