CVMS Junior Honor Society sets Family Night

National Junior Honor Society will present Family Night at Carson Valley Middle School on Friday, April 23.

The activities will begin at 5 p.m. with the first of two basketball games when the 7th and 8th grade students take on the staff.

Immediately following this game will be the 9th grade students vs. the staff at 6 p.m.

Half-time entertainment will be provided by the Staff Spirit Squad and the Freshmen Cheerleaders.

“Don’t forget to bring your empty stomach because there will be a full concession stand,” said NJHS sponsor Jennifer Norman.

Tiger sweatshirts and T-shirts, sizes small to XXL, will be sold, with prices ranging from $13 to $28.

A dance for the students will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. in the big gym. Music will be provided by The Sound.

The price for a family is $7. Students going to the game and the dance will pay $5 with an ASB card and $6 without one. The price for a single student admission to the game or a single student to the dance is $3 with ASB card and $4 without.
