Two face trafficking charges in methamphetamine sale
Two people accused of drug trafficking are scheduled to appear In East Fork Justice Court on Wednesday.
Shantell Mae Marullo, 40, and Shawn Gary Stenzel, 29, were arrested on a warrant in connection with the sale of 5.6 grams of methamphetamine.
They face trafficking and charges of selling drugs near a school and violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
A Gardnerville man who allegedly threatened a witness in a domestic battery is facing felony charges.
William Lee Kinsel, 45, was arrested in lieu of $50,000 on Oct. 11 after allegedly calling the witness and threatening to shoot her.

Desteny Salgado was stopped near Vista Grande and Mica Drive after she allegedly rolled through a stop sign at around 10:40 p.m.
She gave her information to the deputy, and when he went to his patrol car to do a background check, she pulled away down Vista Grande.
She stopped in front of an address on Tourmaline Drive and ran out of the vehicle. She hid until she was spotted and ran from the deputy until a bystander yelled at her to stop.
It turns out Salgado had a suspended drivers license and four warrants.
She also faces a charge of felony eluding.
