Public’s help sought in sniffing out couple in perfume theft

Minden, Nev. — The identities of two people are being sought in connection with a March 5 theft at Ulta Beauty in the Carson Valley Plaza.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a man and woman entered the store and began looking at perfume.

While the woman engaged employees at the front counter in conversation, the man left the store with several fragrance packs, according to Sheriff’s spokesman, Sgt. Pat Brooks.

The woman left soon after with her hands in the air. They left together in a four-door sedan.

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
