Man arrested in Kingsbury Grade road rage
A Stateline man was arrested on Monday after he allegedly pointed a gun at another driver.
Douglas County authorities received a report that there was a rolling road rage on Kingsbury Grade at 10:51 p.m.
Both parties made 911 calls to complain about the other driver.
Deputies found both vehicles and stopped them separately.
They found a weapon belonging to Jared Kaiser, 31, of Stateline.
According to the sheriff’s office, Kaiser was also intoxicated. He was booked into Douglas County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, driving under the influence, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and reckless driving.
Sheriff’s deputies said Kaiser claimed to be a former Southern California police officer. He has a valid permit for the weapon, both of which were confiscated when he was arrested.
