Help wanted identifying man in theft

Authorities are hoping to identify a man seen taking a tablet and peripherals from the Topsy Lane Best Buy on the evening of Sept. 27.

Security footage shows the man opening a box at about 7:08 p.m., containing a tablet and the peripherals, puts them in his pants pocket and exited the store without paying for the items.

The suspect is described as white in his mid-20s, having brown hair, approximately 5-feet, 9-inch tall and weighting approximately 185 pounds.

He was wearing a white baseball cap with a black brim, which was flat. The hat had an unknown black symbol on the left front side. The suspect was wearing black-framed “Buddy Holly” type glasses. The suspect had a brown mustache and was wearing a black T-shirt, a black watch on his left wrist, light gray or white sweat pants with the word “Steelers” in black block letters running down the front left leg, black Nike shoes with a white swoosh and white soles.

A reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest or conviction of the suspect. Callers need not give their identity.
