Drugs land 3 in jail
A Gardnerville Ranchos woman was arrested last week on suspicion of coordinating a sale of opiates.
Melinda R. Roach, 20, was arrested Wednesday at Walmart.
Roach in January coordinated the sale of 40 Percocet pills for $165. According to court documents, the actual transaction was completed at the 7-Eleven on Tillman Lane by her mom and step-dad.
Her bail was set at $10,000.
A transient South Lake Tahoe woman was arrested Sunday on multiple charges.
Annmarie E. Wyatt, 41, was stopped on Highway 395 in Gardnerville for driving a vehicle without registration.
During the traffic stop the deputy learned Wyatt’s license was revoked out of California and she had a warrant for failing to pay child support.
Wyatt told the deputy there were no narcotics or paraphernalia in the vehicle. An inspection by a canine unit found two glass smoking pipes with residue and methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Her bail is set at $7,261.
A Carson City man who drove with a revoked license while in possession of a controlled substance was arrested Friday.
Deputies on Friday responded to a domestic dispute on Mica Drive involving Chris Alvarado, 30. The female involved in the incident told deputies Alvarado, who had an active warrant out of Carson City for his arrest, had gone to a casino to gamble. While leaving the apartment deputies saw Alvarado pull into the parking lot. Methamphetamine and a smoking pipe were found on him at the time of his arrest.
His bail is set at $7,248.
