Congressman due in Minden on Wednesday

U.S. Rep. Mark Amodei will be in Minden on Wednesday to talk to the Douglas County Republican Women.
Amodei is a native Nevadan who has served in the U.S. Army, his state and his communities for more than 25 years.
He was elected to the Nevada Assembly in 1996 and successfully ran for the state senate in 1998 where he served for 12 years, representing western Douglas County during most of that time.
He was elected to replace Rep. Dean Heller, who was appointed to the U.S. Senate.
