Children’s storyime moves to park for the summer
Plenty of reading and fun are offered by the children’s program at the Douglas County Public Library.
The Wednesday children’s storytime sponsored by the Douglas County Public Library will move to Minden Park for the summer starting June 30.
The storytime will be held at 10 a.m., and participants should take a blanket to sit on if they wish. Storytime is a half hour of stories and a simple craft (depending upon the wind.)
Storytime is for children aged 3 and up. Children who are off-track from school are welcome.
Valley youths are invited to join the summer reading program, Reading is a Fine Art, and participate in a star-spangled craft session July 3, 1 p.m., at the library.
The library will provide supplies for making red, white and blue decorations for the July 4th celebration.
For more information or to register for the reading program, call the library at 782-9841.
