CCMES staff and students will serve at McDonald’s as fund-raiser
Staff and students from Meneley Elementary School will be on hand to help serve at the Minden McDonald’s May 14 to raise funds for the school.
Students will serve between 5 and 6 p.m. Names of those to work were drawn randomly, and students from kindergarten through 6th will be working. From 6-8 p.m., teachers and staff will be on hand, according to Kelly Carlson at CCMES.
McDonald’s and C. C. Meneley are partners in education, and a percentage of the profits during those times will be donated for school programs. Carlson added that the school thanks owners Patty and Greg Myers and manager Dee Colby for their help in setting up the event.
The public is invited.
“Please bring your family to have a nice dinner at McDonald’s and be served by staff and students from Meneley. We will be working the registers, wiping tables, making French fries, gathering orders and working the drive-up window,” Carlson added.
