Main Street Gardnerville held its second annual Twisted Steel Fire Pit raffle on Oct. 15 after the final Wine Walk of the season.

Winning the fire pit was Gardnerville resident Tiffany Kirchner.

The October Wine Walk made up for September’s event which was canceled due to smoke.

Main Street Gardnerville is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to revitalize downtown Gardnerville utilizing design, organization, promotion and district vitality to develop the unique identity and preserve the historic nature of our community.

According to the East Fork Fire Protection District, a recreational permit is required for outdoor fire pits or fireplaces.

Permits are good for a year. Call East Fork at 782-9040 or visit the district’s web site at to find out how to obtain a permit, which is good for a year.
