Amodei hosts veterans town hall in Minden
Rep. Mark Amodei R-Nev., will host a veterans’ town hall meeting on 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the historic Douglas County Courthouse, 1616 8th St., in Minden.
“This town hall meeting is an opportunity for veterans to come out and discuss challenges, offer suggestions, and address their concerns – free of any agenda,” Amodei said. “In addition to thanking them for their service, this will also be a chance for veterans to speak with VA representatives and hear more about the assistance my office can provide. If you’re a veteran in the area, I encourage you to come out to learn about the ways we can best serve you.”
Amodei, a U.S. Army veteran, has held regular veterans’ town hall meetings across Nevada in Reno, Sparks, Elko, Carson City, Minden, Fallon, Fernley, Winnemucca, and Lovelock since he was elected to Congress.
