AAL and TELL offer unqiue estate planning project
The Aid Association for Lutherans Branch 1408 and the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Ladies will sponsor “Passing on Your Legacy,” a workshop on how people may share treasures of all kinds with their families.
The program focuses on ways for people to share their values and pass on their wealth to the people they love by looking first at the spiritual and emotional aspects of the estate planning process.
“Bring a scrapbook page with pictures so you can make your own memory page,” said organizer Linda Reid, AAL representative for Trinity Lutheran Church in Gardnerville.
A few minutes of the program will be spent on writing a journal.
“Pictures and thoughts are very important for future generations,” she said. “This program shows us the softer side of estate protection.”
Each participant will receive a booklet with coupons for a camera, journal and estate protection folder.
The program includes a videotape and will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1480 Douglas Ave., Gardnerville, Feb. 13, 12:30 p.m. Reservations are required by Feb. 10. Space is limited.
Attendees should take a sack lunch, and drinks and cookies will be provided.
