30th anniversaryfor Gardnerville salon in June
A milestone is fast approaching for A La Carte Salon as it celebrates it 30th anniversary.
A celebration is planned for June 15 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. during Main street Gardnerville’s Thirsty Third Thursday Wine Walk. Festivities include live music, cake, catered appetizers, wine and free gifts while supplies last.
“We are really excited about this milestone and just love our community that has supported us all these years,” said new owner Suzanne Carreau. “The business was founded 30 years ago by Gloria Kenyon and I purchased it just a few years ago. It has since evolved into a full service salon with hair care, nails, skin care, eyelash extensions, waxing and tanning services.”
Carreau said Bunny Parker, an Emmy-award winning hairstylist, will soon be joining the salon.
“I can’t wait to introduce her to our community,” said Carreau.
A La Carte Salon, formerly La Carte Nails established in 1987, was founded by Gloria Kenyon and originally featured only nails services. Now a full service salon featuring Kristie Parker (hairstylist), Jennine Jorgenson (Hairstylist), Jolly Barrett (hairstylist), Lori Goldberg (manicurist and esthetician), Jayne Smit (manicurist), Tracy Brown (manicurist), Stephanie Fulstone (esthetician, eyelash extension specialist) and Suzanne Carreau (manicurist and owner).
