Genoa, Nev. — The first Third Thursday Wine Walk of the season is 4:30-7:30 p.m. today in downtown Gardnerville. Tickets are available at Gardnerville Station. The event helps support all the stuff that Main Street does. Visit maintstreetgardnerville.org for more information.


Douglas County commissioners are scheduled to hear a presentation on the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree ornament program 10 a.m. today in the Douglas County Courthouse. Douglas County school children have been working on ornaments for the tree.


The boundaries of the Town of Minden are likely to expand north to encompass the site of the new Douglas County Justice Center off Buckeye.


Clear Creek Tahoe developers are asking county commissioners for modifications to put the final touches on the project that has been in progress for more than 20 years. There probably isn’t going to be much pushback on changing the density from 19 to six units.
