31 Douglas residents among students graduating from UNR this week

Thirty-one Douglas County residents are matriculating from the University of Nevada, Reno, starting today.

The university is distributing 3,002 degrees during May 2025 commencement that started this morning with the College of Science and Social Work.

Graduates from the College of Liberal Arts, Orvis School of Nursing and the Reynolds School of Journalism are scheduled to walk 3 p.m. today.

Ceremonies are 8:30 a.m. ceremony Friday for the College of Business and 3 p.m. for the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources and College of Engineering

Saturday’s graduation for the College of Education and Human Development, School of Public Health and School of Medicine (Speech Pathology) is 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
