The Tahoe Knight Monsters capped their inaugural season with a 6-0 loss against the Kansas City Mavericks in Game 4 of the Mountain Division finals.
Kansas City swept the series after winning Game 3, 5-1, Thursday night.
The Mavericks advance to the Western Conference championship, awaiting the winner of the Central Division final between the Toledo Walleye and the Fort Wayne Comets.
Toledo leads that series 3-2.

Tahoe ends its inaugural season as one of the final eight teams left playing in the ECHL.
The Knight Monsters went 41-25-4 (88 points), earning the first-year franchise a No. 3 seed in the Mountain Division.
Tahoe opened the postseason with a 4-0 sweep of Wichita before running into Kansas City.
Sloan Stanick, a 21-year-old rookie, took home top honors as the ECHLs Rookie of the Year. Stanick wrapped up the regular season with 29 goals and 50 assists (79 points). He tacked on seven more points in eight postseason games.
The Knight Monsters finished the season with 11 sellouts of Tahoe Blue Events Center in 35 home games.
