Northern California based duo, Misner & Smith will perform 7 p.m. April 11 at the CVIC Hall in Minden.

“The duo’s music is a combination of soaring vocal harmonies, tight instrumental arrangements, and story-filled, poetic songwriting, adding up to some of the most electrifying music on the scene today,” according to their bio. “The duo’s sound harkens back to the bedrock of rock and folk, drawing inspiration from acts like Crosby, Stills & Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, The Band, and many others along the way. But the diversity of styles and genres are one of the things that set Misner & Smith apart.”

While two-part vocals are the centerpiece to their sound, the pair features Sam Misner on acoustic guitars, and Megan Smith on upright bass.

Their latest album, “All is Song,” contains harmony, melody and thoughtfulness.

“From the opening chords to the final notes, this singer/songwriter duo takes listeners on a soul-stirring journey through their musical landscape, inviting them to immerse themselves in the depths of their artistry.”
