Genoa resident Debby Beadle’s son Jason and his bride Alisha were married June 21 at the Beadle home in Eagle Ridge.
“What was planned to be a beautiful Genoa outdoor garden wedding ended up being a last-minute indoor great room and deck wedding,” Beadle said. “After losing the battle between the crazy hurricane force winds, rain, snow, and the devastating fire across the valley, it was decided to bring it indoors.
“Family and friends were recruited to shuffle furniture and place chairs, and it ended up to be perfect.”
Beadle said the indoor nuptials went as planned and when the sun came out allowed the photographer to capture the bride and groom.
“The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception dinner at the Pink House was delicious,” she said. “The after party was held at the Genoa bar with the wedding party and friends in attendance. It is tradition for the bride and groom to sit on the bar and have their pictures taken, and of course they did.”
