Friends of the Douglas County Library Author Event and Annual Meeting will feature “At Last” author Mary Bell Meyer 11 a.m. Saturday in the Grandview Dining Room, Douglas County Community & Senior Center. Following a brief business meeting, Meyer will discuss her book and the benefits of book groups. Copies of “At Last” will be available for purchase and signing – cash or check only.

Now retired, she and her husband live in Nevada below Lake Tahoe and enjoy hiking and traveling in the Sierra Nevada.

Although she has written much during her career, this is her first novel.
