On 1/6/2025, the Douglas County Board of
Commissioners INTRODUCED the following
ordinance:
ORDINANCE: 2024-1646
TITLE: Ordinance 2024-1646, a Zoning Map
Amendment changing the zoning district
for a 5-acre portion of a 24-acre parcel
from A-19 (Agriculture – 19-acre minimum
parcel size) to GC (General commercial).
The subject parcel is located on APN
1320-32-501-001, north and northeast of
the Zerolene Road and US Highway 395
intersection, behind the business fronting
Highway 395.
SUMMARY: Ordinance 2024-1646, an
ordinance for an ordinance for a Zoning
Map Amendment (ref. DP 24-0136) which
would change the zoning district for a
5-acre portion of a 24-acre parcel from
A-19 (Agriculture – 19-acre minimum
parcel size) to GC (General commercial).
The subject parcel is located on APN
1320-32-501-001, north and northeast of
the Zerolene Road and US Highway 395
intersection, behind the business fronting
Highway 395. The parcel is within the
Minden Community Plan. The applicant
is Dorian Faught, Faught 2009 Revocable
Trust.
The 2nd Reading of this Ordinance will be
held on 2/6/2025
