Man faces prison for selling stolen vehicle

A man who sold a stolen vehicle to an elderly person faces up to 20 years in prison.

James Michael Baldisseri, 44, was arrested on March 13, 2024, after selling a 2021 Toyota Ford Runner for $27,000 knowing that it was stolen.

Sentencing was scheduled for March 24 pending a presentence investigation.

Baldisseri was ordered to pay restitution of $27,000 before sentencing as part of the plea agreement.

• A Santa Clara woman was sentenced to prison on Monday.

Kenneth Avery Haines, who goes by Kendra, was arrested in May 2024 for possession of a stolen vehicle.

According to court documents, Haines has 10 prior misdemeanor offenses, failures to appear and failure to abide by court orders.

Haines was sentenced to 12-30 months. She was given credit for 112 days.
