Genoa, Nev. — East Fork firefighters responded to a structure fire around 5:50 p.m. Wednesday on the exterior of a home at 3645 Granite Way in Topaz Ranch Estates, according to Pulse Point.
About the same time as the fire on the other end of the county around 50 people turned out for a defensible space discussion at the Genoa Town Hall.

The forecast calls for what I think is the first 80-degree high temperature of the year in Minden today. The wind is predicted to pick up out of the west at 5-10 mph this afternoon.
