Carson Valley Health has sponsored the Douglas County Community and Senior Center gym scoreboards, continuing their commitment since 2016.

“Collaboration and community are some of the core values that we prioritize in our mission of the Foundation to support the Community Centers in Douglas County,” said Douglas County Community Services Foundation Chairman Renea Louie. “We emphasize those values in all we do and partner with great organizations like Carson Valley Health who are an integral part of making our community and senior centers a healthier and better place.”

Community Center users of all ages spend time in the gym for hundreds of activities year around.

“The Douglas County Community & Senior Center and the Douglas County Community Services Foundation are extremely grateful for the incredible, continued support from Carson Valley Health,” Louie said. “They have again renewed their ongoing pledge as the 2023-24 Naming Rights sponsor for all eight scoreboards in the Douglas County Community Center gymnasium.”

Carson Valley Health, previously known as Carson Valley Medical Center, provides care to the residents of Carson Valley and surrounding areas.

A partnership of Barton HealthCare System of South Lake Tahoe and Renown Health of Reno, Carson Valley Health is a nonprofit, state accredited healthcare organization with a critical access hospital, emergency department, and outpatient/inpatient surgical services on its main campus in Gardnerville. They also have an additional five off-site primary care clinics, urgent care, and a host of outpatient and complimentary services.

“Carson Valley Health holds our partnership with Douglas County Community and Senior Center in the highest regard, and we look forward to many more years of support,” said hospital Marketing Manager Heidi Saucedo. “Working together to keep our residents in good health is a huge benefit to our community.”
