David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach concert canceled

Singer-songwriter and slide-guitarist David Jacobs-Strain and longtime musical partner Bob Beach canceled their concert scheduled for tonight in Minden.

“They would be coming from the Bay area and dangerous road conditions on I-80 have stopped them,” said Carson Valley Arts Council Events Committee Chairwoman Sharon Hoelscher Day. “They were supposed to do a concert on Thursday in Winnemucca and that was canceled too. So, our concert and the school assembly are cancelled. We will be rescheduling them for next year.”
