Our recent storms managed to create another little stutter step in the Carson River snow water equivalence, lifting it just short of the green for the basin. Forestdale Creek is running 92 percent for the year, according to the telemetry, while Carson Pass officially bottomed out today. It’s always possible one of those sensors is broken.

Temperatures are on a warming trend with sunny skies today and a high of 74 degrees. The Zephyr will pick up this afternoon at 5-10 mph, gusting to 20 mph. It appears safe to hook up the hoses again trough the end of next week, at least.
