The state engineer has scheduled water workshops for residents of the Smith and Mason valleys in April.
A spokesman said the workshops will address current groundwater conditions and concerns over drought.
The first is set April 11 at 5 p.m. at the Smith Valley High School gym on Day Lane.
The second is set April 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lyon County Administrative Building in Yerington.
