Douglas High art students’ work on display

An artists’ reception is 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Copeland Gallery in Minden for 40 Douglas High School students whose work is on display through March 30.

The reception is free and open to the public. Douglas High art teacher Kelly Yost’s students’ work may be viewed 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

“Carso Valley Arts Council is delighted to present work by Ms. Yost’s accomplished students,” said Executive Director Sharon Schlegel. “Their professional level of work presents accomplished and diverse mixed media creative achievements.”

Participating students include Paloma Moon, AJ Dare, Eva McNinch, Rachel Galaham, Diara Navarrete Amoral, Ysa Cruz, Lejila Thompson, McKenna Chappell, Ruby Hanson, Samantha Taylor, Harmony Campbell, Meredith Cloninger, Faith Strabala, Myrian Robles, Gretta Gardner, Amy Rivera, Kevin Thomas, Joe Guariglia, Audrey Ruckman, Gabe Natividad, Emma Shipley, Gracen Gasporra, Harley Smith, Paris Lamora, Cheyenne McCormick, Shaila Moe, Bryce O’Laughlin, Hailey MacIntire, Carissa Bilderback, Masin Collins, Lily Lewallen, Dylan Hassman, Emma Glover, Olivia Gaynor, Abby Keith,Gwen Scossa, Brylee Modispacher, Olivia Rodina, Mia Bertolone and Malachi Visbal.
