LEGAL NOTICE

TIMBER FOR SALE, UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE

INTERIOR, BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, WRITTEN BIDS as

hereinafter designated will be received by the Field Manager, Bureau

of Land Management, Sierra Front Field Office, 5665 Morgan Mill

Road, Carson City, NV 89701 by 12:00 p.m., July 18, 2022, for all

timber marked or designated for cutting. Before bids are submitted, full

information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission

of bids, including appraised prices per species, should be obtained

from the above field manager. The right is hereby reserved to waive

technical defects in this advertisement and to reject any or all bids.

The United States reserves the right to waive any informality in bids

received whenever such waiver is in the interest of the United States. A

Categorical Exclusion, DOI-BLM-NV-C020-2022-0015-CX, and Decision

Record were prepared for this sale.

IN ALPINE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, PUBLIC DOMAIN LANDS:

WRITTEN SEALED BIDS: Timber designated for cutting on the

Tamarack Fire Salvage located on BLM lands in T10N, R20E, Sections

3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 17, M.D.M. off the Indian Creek campground road. This

is a scaled sale, estimated to be 1,061.0 MBF (thousand board feet) of

merchantable saw timber. Optional bid items include an additional 418

MBF of merchantable saw timber and 2,060 green tons of biomass. No

written bid for less than $1,091.00 will be considered. Minimum deposit

with written bid is $109.10 plus 10% of the appraised price of each

optional item bid upon. All timber offered for sale hereunder is restricted

from export from the United States in the form of unprocessed timber.
