ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

1. Separate sealed bids will be received by the East Fork

Swimming Pool District Board of Trustees, Minden, Nevada,

for the work as set forth in the Bid Documents for the Roof

Rehabilitation and Concession Improvements Project.

The bids shall be received on or before 2:00 pm on

Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Front Counter of the Carson

Valley Swim Center, 1600 HWY 88, Minden NV 89423. Bids

will be subsequently opened and read aloud at 2:01 pm at the

Carson Valley Swim Center, Minden NV 89423. The

apparent successful low bidder will be announced at the

bid opening on Thursday, August 4, 2022. The Owner will

make a recommendation for award on August 5, 2022. It is

anticipated that the East Fork Swimming Pool District Board of

Trustees will consider award of the contract at their scheduled

meeting held on August 18, 2022.

2. The scheduled work for the Roof Rehabilitation and

Concession Improvements consists of roof maintenance

and coating and concession storage room expansion.

The Architects estimate for this work is $305,000.00

3. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a bid

security in the form of a Certified or Cashier’s Check, or Bid

Bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid.

under the Construction Doc’s tab

5. Bid Documents will be available starting June 25, 2022

6. The minimum licensing requirements is set forth by the

Nevada State Contractors Board and contractor shall capable

of being bonded for this project. Contractors may register

their intent to submit a bid by sending an email to Scott

McCullough smccullough@douglasnv.us (SUBJECT LINE

Roof Rehabilitation and Concession Improvements).

Registration as a digital subscriber is necessary to receive

notifications via email to the project from the Owners website

where all documents and addenda will be posted.

8. The Prevailing Wage Rate as established by the State Labor

Commission shall be paid on projects with a contract price

of $100,000 or more. A project number PWP DO 2022-395

has been assigned.

9. NRS 338.147 provides for a 5 percent bidder preference

to bidders who qualify for the preference. The requirements

for the preference are detailed in the contract documents.

10. A pre-bid conference will be held on July 13, 2022 at 2:00pm

at the project site located at 1600 HWY 88, Minden NV

89423. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the

conference, but it is not mandatory.
