With the long President’s Day weekend looming, Mono County is touting its lodging options.

Located at June Lake, The Double Eagle Resort and Spa features dining with a mountain view at the Eagle’s Landing Restaurant.

Children 12 and under can hit the slopes at June Mountain for free all season.

June Lake has shops, restaurants and a sledding hill. Visitors may rent snowshoes or cross-country skis to explore the groomed trails of nearby volcanic glass Obsidian Dome.

While the Sierra Nevada offer an impressive skyline to the west, further east is Benton Hot Springs with its views of the White Mountains.

The Inn at Benton Hot Springs has seven rooms with common hot tubs and barbecue pits per each three rooms. For a bit more privacy, visitors may rent any one of the six guest houses with a personal hot tub. All hot tubs flow directly from the natural hot springs, where the natural mineral waters reach 140 degrees.

Lake View Lodge and Murphy’s Motel offer options for travelers looking to explore Lee Vining.

Originally named Lake View, Lee Vining is located at Highway 395 and State Highway 120, overlooking Mono Lake.
