The Reno Aces have yet to lose in the month of August after beating the Las Vegas Aviators in six straight games to begin the month.
The Aces posted double-digit run totals in three of the final four games and didn’t allow more than five runs until the final game of the series.
In the last seven days, the Aces have pelted 14 home runs, which also includes three off the bat of AAA home run leader, Stone Garrett.
Arizona Diamondbacks top prospect, Corbin Carroll, went 9-for-20 with two doubles, a home run and five RBIs.
Catcher Dominic Miroglio drove in eight RBIs while hitting .500 over the past week at the plate.
With a minimum of 10 at-bats over the last seven days, five Reno Aces’ players have an OPS over 1.000.
Drey Jameson and Brandon Pfaadt both allowed one earned run over their starts and struck out a combined 12 batters over 13 innings of work on the hill.
