Minden insurance broker announces merger

Douglas County Sheriffs Mounted Posse’s Mo Parga receives a $500 donation from George Swetland and Cindy Thomson of AandH Insurance.

AandH Insurance is merging with Richard Thomson Insurance Brokers of South Lake Tahoe and HDS Insurance of Minden.

This merger will allow AandH Insurance to offer a full line of insurance products to individuals, families, and businesses in the Minden and Lake Tahoe regions.

The transition should be seamless for clients as Cindy Thomson of HDS Insurance and George Thomson of RTIB Inc. will continue managing existing accounts, with support from additional team members in the A and H Insurance Reno office. 

George Swetland of Gardnerville, a commercial insurance agent with more than 40 years of insurance industry experience, will be joining the office as well. A and H Insurance can offer existing RTIB Inc. and HDS Insurance client’s access to a wider range of insurance products as well as a larger network of insurance carriers to find coverage with.

The South Lake Tahoe office location of RTIB Inc. will remain open for the time being with limited hours.
