North Sails Nevada was one of five businesses in Douglas County to be certified sustainable by GreenACTnv.
Five businesses in Douglas County have been certified for environmental sustainability by GreenACTnv.
Continuum Packaging, Comstock Farm, d-Terra Law, Katherine Winans, CMP, and North Sails Nevada are the newest members to receive the locally recognized certification.
“As president of GreenACTnv, the certification process points the way to reduce your business’ environmental impact, and equally important, your business' bottom line,” said Katherine Winans.
“More and more businesses are wrestling with their impact locally and abroad and we applaud the companies that have taken this important step. As our region has seen with the increase in wildfires, this act is more important than ever.”
GreenACTnv is a Douglas County educational nonprofit promoting sustainable practices and environmental responsibility.
