Douglas hosts flu vaccination clinics

During the month of October, Douglas County Community Health Clinic is inviting residents to get a flu shot at one of four drive through clinics.

This vaccine clinics will be held:

• Topaz Ranch Estates Community Center

3939 Carter Drive

10 a.m.-noon Tuesday

• Indian Hills

3394 James Lee, Carson City

10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday

• Douglas County Community and Senior Center

1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville

9 a.m.-noon Oct. 13

• Kahle Community Center

236 Kingsbury Grade, Stateline

11 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 15


Carson City Health and Human Services is conducting a combined coronavirus and flu vaccine clinic 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Douglas High School Oct. 16.

Please wear a mask at any of the clinics regardless of vaccination status. These events have limited vaccine availability and will operate on a first come, first serve basis. All ages are welcome.

Please bring insurance cards. Medicaid, Medicare, and most major private insurances will be accepted. For uninsured or underinsured, the flu shot is $20.

If you are unable to make the events and would like to schedule a flu vaccine with the clinic for another day, please call 775-782-9038.
