Douglas County Sheriff’s K-9s will have their day in Gardnerville today at a Cowboys for Cops and EMS event at Circle S Western Market at high noon.
In addition to demonstrating their skills, there will be a bar and fire trucks.
Donations, bar proceeds and a portion of Circle S Western Market’s sales will go to support the K-9 unit and Northern Nevada Peer Support Network, which provides mental health resources to first responders and hospital health care professionals.
The market is located at 1506 Main St., Gardnerville. Additional parking is available on Mill Street.
